1. Essential (always needed to run the app)
BillLitz stores invoices, profile, and preferences in browser localStorage / IndexedDB on your device. These are required for the service to function (not optional “analytics” cookies from LogicLitz).

2. Advertising (optional — Google AdSense)
BillLitz may load Google AdSense on History and Reports after you choose one of these in the consent banner:
- Keep BillLitz Free — personalized AdSense (full path where Google allows)
- Essentials with Basic Ads only — non-personalized AdSense, with LogicLitz house tips as fallback
Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Learn more:

AdSense does not load until you choose personalized or basic ads.
3. Other network requests
Optional FX conversion in Reports may call a third-party rates API when you use that feature. That is separate from AdSense and is not used to show ads.
4. How to change your choice
- Open the BillLitz app
- Use Cookie settings in the footer
- Pick Keep BillLitz Free or Essentials with Basic Ads only
You can also clear site data in your browser to remove local storage (this deletes invoices on that browser unless you have a backup).
5. EU / UK note
Non-essential advertising cookies require consent. Our banner is designed so AdSense is not requested before you choose one of the two ad options.
