1. Essential (always needed to run the app)
BillLitz stores invoices, profile, and preferences in browser localStorage / IndexedDB on your device. These are required for the service to function (not optional “analytics” cookies from LogicLitz).

2. Advertising (optional — Google AdSense)
If you choose Allow ads, BillLitz may load Google AdSense on History and Reports. Google may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve and measure ads. Learn more:

AdSense does not load until you allow ads. Choosing Essential only keeps Google ads off; first-party LogicLitz product tips may still appear without Google’s ad script.
3. Other network requests
Optional FX conversion in Reports may call a third-party rates API when you use that feature. That is separate from AdSense and is not used to show ads.
4. How to change your choice
- Open the BillLitz app
- Use Cookie settings in the footer
- Pick Essential only or Allow ads
You can also clear site data in your browser to remove local storage (this deletes invoices on that browser unless you have a backup).
5. EU / UK note
Non-essential advertising cookies require consent. Our banner is designed so AdSense is not requested before you allow ads.

FAQ
- Can I use BillLitz without Google cookies?
- Yes. Choose Essential only. Core invoicing works; Google AdSense will not load.
- Where do ads appear?
- Only on History and Reports footers when configured — never on the invoice PDF or over Download/Share controls.
