BillLitz is offline invoicing software delivered as a progressive web app (PWA). Install it from Chrome or Edge on phone or desktop, then open straight into the invoice editor — not marketing pages — so you can bill when the network is weak or unavailable.

How offline invoicing works

  1. Visit BillLitz online once and install when the browser offers Add to Home Screen / Install.
  2. The installed app caches the editor shell so it can launch without a live connection.
  3. Create invoices, save history on-device, and download PDFs locally.
  4. When you are back online, optional features like live FX rates in Reports become available again.

Why offline matters

Field technicians, tutors, photographers, and market vendors often need to issue a bill before Wi‑Fi returns. Cloud-only tools fail in that moment. BillLitz keeps drafts and history in IndexedDB on your device so a dropped connection does not block a PDF.

What stays online-only

Privacy and backups

Offline-first also means your invoices are not automatically synced to LogicLitz servers on the free tier. That is a feature — and a responsibility. Export backups, and on desktop consider linking a Backup folder so Clear site data does not erase your history. Read Privacy.

SEO guides vs the installed app

Marketing and how-to articles live under /learn/ for search engines and humans. They are not part of the installed PWA shell. Installing BillLitz opens the editor at /app/.

Data is stored on-device. Back up regularly; clearing browser site data can remove local invoices.
